The guide in support of municipal cultural planning, municipal cultural policies and promotion of francophone culture in Ontario was produced as part of the “Municipal cultural planning” in June 2007.

It was sponsored by the Association of Francophone Municipalities of Ontario (AFMO) and financed by the Cultural Strategic Investment Fund (CSIF) and the Canada-Ontario Agreement on French Language Services.
